Facilitator Package
The online course will close on 15 March 2020, so the facilitator package will no longer be available from that date. However, it will be replaced with a Presenters package.
Speech pathologists who would like to facilitate a Cued Articulation training session with a group of teachers can be provided with a login to the online course so that they can project the course onto a classroom screen and run their own training course.
We provide a lesson plan for you so that you know what facilitation is required at each stage. A course completion certificate is provided for each participant.
To present the course, it will take 6-7 hours. It could be over one day, or 4 x 1½ hour sessions or 3 x 2 hour sessions. You need to be aware that the course teaches much more than just the cues! It teaches a new understanding of our sounds and sound system, which informs the teaching practice of the participants.
The cost is $400 for a 6-month licence to run as many courses as you like.
The fee does not include the cost of the Cued Articulation book, shop.acer.edu.au/acer-shop/group/CUEDART or the iPad App. Jane Passy insists that everyone attending a course should have access to one of these resources. If your staff work in teams of teacher and assistant, one book/App between them is fine. We can supply you with books at $36 incl. P&P, but you’d need to get the App from the App Store or Google Play.
